This page is dedicated to pup – a 2 year old Border collie, he came to the farm when his owner kicked him out of the car and dumped him in our yard and drove off.  At first glance the little dog seemed really old as he was so thin, bedraggled and he had a really bad limp.  However after a good meal, a warm bed, some T.L.C & a much needed trip to the vet we discovered the dog was only a puppy and had hip-displacment.

 

At the time we were told he would need his leg amputated but due to his incredible ‘puppy-power’ his hip displacment has now disappeared.  The vet believes this is due to his incredibly active lifestyle which has lead to his muscles holding his hips in place.

 

The puppy was called Puppy because we couldn’t decide on a name and within a week he was already answering to Puppy.  So the name stuck!!!
